Crafted with Love in Sussex.

Our story begins during the days of the covid lockdown, a time when creativity at the kitchen table transformed into visionary ideas. It was on one bright and sunny day that the concept of Shine Limoncello sprang to life, inspired by Laura's zest for lemons and her entrepreneurial spirit in exploring other lemon-centric business ventures.

Laura and Nicola, both independent and creative women, shared not only a passion for innovation but also an appreciation for well crafted products. This shared vision led to the birth of Shine Limoncello, a unique venture that reimagines Limoncello. Our mission is to infuse contemporary flair into classic Limoncello.

Nicola is from the beautiful shores of New Zealand, embodying the pioneering spirit of her homeland. Her background spans advertising, marketing, communications, and consulting in change management. But forget the corporate spiel—our focus is producing delicious drinks using the vibrant, sunny essence of lemons.

Laura is a yoga teacher, local artist and a festival and events production guru. One of her proud career moments includes sending a Kit Kat to space.

When Nicola and Laura get together to talk business, we share such positive vibes, and with Laura’s background - we feel the sky's the limit!

Welcome to Shine Limoncello, where each sip captures a tale of passion, purpose, and the pure joy of lemons. Join us in celebrating a new drink that's about heritage and innovation.

A Special Tribute

We would like to make a special tribute to Oliver, Nicola’s fiancé, long time love, and best friend who tragically died last June. Oli and Nicola’s first holiday together was to the Amalfi Coast, and they were both partial to an after dinner glass of Limoncello.

Oli was a creative entrepreneur, a free spirit who loved people, culture, music, good food and wine, and was present at the kitchen table when ‘Shine’ was born. Oli believed in me, loved the ‘Shine’ business concept and is the driving force behind this business, reminding us to live life to the full, cherish each day, to follow your dreams - and that anything is possible.

Happy memories: Nic and Oli on the Amalfi Coast 2016.
